Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this site may collect, how it is used, and your rights. It is written to be readable; it is not a substitute for legal advice.
Who we are
dimstack.net is a personal site and blog operated by Seb. Contact for privacy-related questions: open an issue or discussion on GitHub (NT9V).
What data we collect
Server and hosting logs. Vercel (hosting) and Cloudflare (DNS / CDN) may process technical data such as IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, and TLS metadata when you visit the site. That processing is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Analytics. If lightweight analytics are enabled in the future, they would be configured to minimise personal data (for example aggregated page views rather than cross-site tracking). This policy will be updated if that changes.
Cookies and local storage. The site may store non-identifying preferences in your browser (for example theme choice). Advertising cookies may be set if Google AdSense is enabled (see below).
Future accounts. If sign-in or interactive tools are added via Supabase Auth, we would process account identifiers (such as email) and session data needed to run those features. That data would be processed under Supabase’s terms and stored only for legitimate service purposes.
Third-party services
- Google AdSense (when activated) — may show personalised or non-personalised ads and use cookies as described in Google’s policies.
- Vercel — static hosting and deployment logs.
- Cloudflare — DNS and CDN; may process edge requests.
- Supabase (future) — authentication and application data for any features that require a backend.
Sale of data
We do not sell your personal information. Third parties listed above may process data as independent controllers or processors according to their own policies and our configuration choices.
Legal bases and rights (EEA / UK / California)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests (operating and securing the site), consent (where required for cookies or marketing), and contract / steps prior to contract if you later use sign-in features. You may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
California residents: you may have rights under the CCPA / CPRA, including to know what personal information is collected, to delete certain information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined by California law. We do not sell personal information for money; ad partners may use data as described in their policies.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or integrations change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when material changes are made.
